5 Unique Supplements to Add to Your Diet to Maintain Your Balance

Eating a colorful diet with the full rainbow of veggies with lots of high-quality fats and high-quality protein will do much more for you than even the best supplement. That being said, if you are serious about performance levels or want to supplement the occasional nutrient-lacking day in your busy lifestyle, supplements do have a place. The five following unique supplements will help you workout harder and recover faster, naturally and gimmick-free.

Grass-Fed Whey Protein

Many whey proteins are denatured and challenging to digest. Grass-fed whey protein is made from pasture-raised cows, so it is packed with essential Omega-3 fatty acids and high-quality protein to feed your cells. According to Kyani U.S., “Omega-3s are found in EVERY cell in the body, particularly in the brain and heart.” So, make sure you take your protein at the right times throughout the day.

Most scoops of whey can deliver a whopping 25 grams of protein and over 5 grams of branched chain amino acids. A healthy Whey protein is free of fillers and is sweetened with stevia, making it a perfect addition to the diet of the sugar-conscious. You can also buy it plain if you are one of those strange people who doesn’t like chocolate. Research also shows that whey protein may be superior to soy protein, so shake it up with some homemade almond milk and vanilla extract and watch your energy bounce off the walls.

Trace Minerals

The small addition of a few electrolyte drops to your water could make a huge difference. Magnesium helps to increase glucose availability and exercise efficacy, according to this study. Potassium and other trace minerals are also crucial for improving circulation and mitigating muscle cramps. Because these minerals are harvested from natural sources, they are bioavailable and easy to absorb.

Vegan Protein Blend With Hemp
